This system has all the characteristics of railFOM-IMPACT, adding the following features:


Derailment Probability Prediction:


railFOM-ULTIMATE can measure the lateral forces the train produces when negotiating a curve, and in combination with the vertical force signal, calculates the Y/Q factor, indicating the derailment probability.

In addition, and thanks to its high-accuracy time measurement, this system can calculate the attack angle of each axle over the measurement point, obtaining an additional indicator of the derailment probability.
